Our Plans for the October 25, 2024 Weekend
There’s no easy way to say it – the past month, since Hurricane Helene caused so much devastation all across Western NC, has been horrible. Across our region and especially here in Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, lives and livelihoods have been lost, homes and businesses have been severely damaged, and we are all grappling with shock, grief, sadness, anger, and more.
We know this is a very, very challenging time – and we are sending so much love, support, and solidarity to our friends, colleagues and neighbors.
On the Grey Hawk team, we also believe that coming together over delicious food, tasty drinks, awesome music, all in a lovely, relaxing environment can be very healing. It’s in that spirit that we are looking forward to seeing y’all again the weekend of October 25.
As our community begins to rebuild and recover, we are here as a comfortable gathering space, and we would love to see you. We know that things will look a little/a lot different over the next few months, but we are eager to serve our area again, when y’all are ready.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25 6-8pm
PASTA DINNER: Enjoy a delicious two-course meal for $20 – first course of Caesar Salad, and a second course with a choice of Spaghetti with Marinara and Garlic Bread OR Fall Pumpkin Pasta with Browned Sage Butter and Pine Nuts. Plus, we’ll have discounted wine specials and a full bar with delicious cocktails.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26 7-10pm
LAKE LURE LOUNGE: We’re grateful to welcome Owen Walsh for Live Music (he’ll be playing from 7-9pm) for special cocktail lounge vibes – full cocktail bar, plus wine and beer specials available – plus light bites available. Come see us after the Lured-a-Palooza Spooktacular Fundraiser at Lured Market & Grill.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27 11am-1pm
BACKYARD BRUNCH: Choose from two entree options – Biscuits & Gravy, or Personal Quiche – for $20. Two sides (fruit salad or fat breakfast sausage links) available for $5 each. Plus, our full espresso bar with gourmet coffees and delicious brunch cocktails and mocktails will be available.
Friday, Saturday & Sunday 7:30-10:30am
THE HATCHLING COFFEE HOUSE: Every morning from now through October 27, The Hatchling Coffee House will be open 7:30-10:30am for free coffee and bagels. Whatever you’d like, it’s on the house. Come join us!
